Occupy Portland Costs Taxpayers 209K In Police O.T.
Their goal has been to represent the '99%' and or make their lives better...they may have succeeded in putting more cash in the pockets of law enforcement, but setting taxpayers back hundreds of thousands of dollars.
According to the latest figures from the City of Portland Police Department shows overtime needed to pay for police to provide security during Occupy Portland has risen to $209,000! That figure was through wednesday of this last week. Officials estimate the cost will continue to rise as long as the movement continues.
