A bizarre case in Pasco had the attention of some passers-by at the Tuscany Plaza on Road 68 Wednesday afternoon.

Officers said around 4 PM two women met up there, apparently over a dispute. A 28-year-old victim met up with the 37-year-old suspect. Then, according to Pasco Police:

"The two were apparently having a dispute. The victim had a pistol with her and possesses a Concealed Weapon Permit to carry it lawfully. Witnesses report that as the victim’s car arrived, the suspect and another male moved toward it to confront the driver. The victim refused to exit, but had the sunroof open."

However, the suspect climbed onto the victim's car, leaned through the sunroof and began punching her. The victim fired a warning shot into the pavement, trying to attract attention.

When Officers arrived the two women were furious battling inside the car to gain control of the pistol. The suspect continued to fight, ripping off the victim's wig.

Officer Mendoza was able to separate the two and gain control of the gun. He told the suspect to stand in front of the patrol car, by the cattle-bumper gate guard. However, instead, she chose that time to climb onto the bumper bars and proceed to twerk.

Mendoza was quickly able to establish probable cause for assault because the victim was right there. Another officer took the suspect to jail.

Pasco PD says her name has not been released nor her identity (blurred in images) because she may be a part of a larger investigation.

The victim did not sustain serious injuries from the assault. What led to their dispute was not revealed by Police.
