According to an autopsy report and police records, the 18-year-old man found dead near the Cable Bridge in Pasco may have been killed by his own gun.

Authorities say George Thacker might have been shot while giving a ride to a pair of suspects who are now in custody. 23-year-old Nathan Quintero and his 17-year-old brother Jaden were captured in Walla Walla in connection with Thacker's death. Police didn't elaborate about what may have happened, but think Thacker's own gun might have been used against him. His body was found near 9th and Bridge Streets.

Officials say a Chevy Cobalt Thacker was driving, had large amounts of blood inside, and police found a number of unspent 9mm pistol rounds at the murder scene.

Court documents recently unsealed show Thacker was shot at least five times at close range in the head and neck. The two brothers have plead not guilty, and will go on trial December 16th.
