Photo Shows Pasco Hit-And-Run Victim’s Hat, Belongings Lying in Road
A stark image taken at the scene of a Pasco hit-and-run accident shows the victim's hat and other personal items still lying in the road.
WHEN WAS PERSON HIT CROSSING THE STREET?
Around 5:20 PM Tuesday evening, the man (whose name was not released) was crossing Lewis Street by 8th when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The suspect's vehicle kept going and didn't slow down. The man was alert and moving when passer-bys came to his aid as well as EMS and Police.
As a precaution, he was taken to a nearby hospital for an examination. No word as to how fast the vehicle was driving, it was described this way by Pasco Police:
"...a later model 4-door BMW sedan, silver in color, with silver wheels and a shattered front windshield, license plate potentially starts with BJJ."
Police didn't elaborate, but given witnesses saw it had a shattered windshield, we wonder if that's part of the impact area when the car hit the man, sending up up the front of the car into the glass?
