Primary Ballots Due Today in Washington State

They either need to be dropped off by 8pm at designated voting stations, or postmarked with today's date.

Franklin County has drop boxes located at TRAC and the Courthouse plus several other places. See the list here.

For Benton County, the Auditor-Assessors office on Canal has an outside drop box, as does Kennewick City Hall, Benton City Hall, the Auditors Annex in Richland and other locations. Find the one closest to you here.

The issues on this primary include races for Kennewick City Council,  Kennewick Public Hospital District - each with one position, the Mayor of Benton City, as well as several positions on the Richland School Board. Also up for grabs are two positions on the West Richland City Council.

These are important local races that will decide policies that will affect you in the future.  The top two vote-getters in each race will square off in the general election in November.
