Protest Planned at Liquor Control Pasco Wednesday
According to organizers and supporters, it isn't just about the 'overzealous' actions being taken by Liquor Control Board agents towards businesses; it's also about the hypocritial difference in how some businesses are being treated.
Wednesday, January 4, a "Peaceful Protest/Tea Party at the LCB" protest will take place, 4PM, at the Tri-City office. It's located at 2715 St. Andrews Loop, Pasco.
The event invite revisits December 16, 1773, the Boston Tea Party. Colonists who were upset and fed up with being taxed without representation in Parliament dumped 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. It was the first act of defiance by colonists prior to the Revolutionary War.
Organizers and supporters of the event are frustrated with the Governor's latest lockdown, despite the state's own COVID numbers showing the number of cases/rates that can be traced to restaurants, bars, is about 1 percent.
