The Kennewick Irrigation District (KID) would like to let their customers know that the last anticipated date of water delivery will be Thursday, October 10, 2019.

Once water delivery has ended, KID crews will begin baseline testing. Baseline testing provides the opportunity for crews to measure the amount of water seepage from the canals.

During testing, canals may appear to be more full than usual due to the intentional backup of water, this allows KID to measure the amount of loss from starting to end point.

They would also like to remind their customers after water is turned off for the season, to please winterize your valve and have sprinkler systems blown out to help prevent cracking and breakage during freezing temperatures.

For more information on winterizing procedures please visit their website at www.kid.org or contact Customer Service at 586-9111.
