Tuesday afternoon, an 18-year-old motorcycle 'enthusiast' lost the bike he had just bought Monday, after being pulled over for extremely reckless driving.

Deputies say the man, whose name was not released, is in the Benton County jail on reckless driving charges after he was spotted riding at an "extremely" high rate of speed on I-182 near Richland.

Deputies say they gave chase and attempted to pull him over, but he didn't and kept whizzing along. Finally, he realized all the flashing lights and patrol cars flying behind him were, indeed, for HIM.

After finally pulling over, Deputies learned the rider had just bought the bike Monday. Tuesday, he lost it for a while as it was towed, while he was towed to jail.
