Richland Shoreline Project Will Bring Detours Along River April 10-24
Starting Monday, April 10th, Richland officials say a shoreline stabilization project will bring some detours for about two weeks.
The Shoreline Stabilization project will affect the Columbia River shore in Howard Amon park in Richland, and will require some detours, which are shown in the photo and map.
The project will involve moving a lot of earth, rock and gravel to stabilize what officials say has been natural erosion of the Columbia Riverbank.
Streets running along the river directly will be closed from Lee Boulevard, to just North of the Hampton Inn. The project will last approximately two weeks.
