Robbery Suspects Flee Into Waiting Arms of Cops in Kennewick
It's not Friday, but April 13 already proving to be unlucky for some perps, and busy for police.
Around 1:10AM two armed robbers held up the Circle K at 10th and Union in Kennewick. Police arrived quickly, and brought their K-9, but then learned the suspects had fled in a car. They're still being sought.
But shortly afterwards, around 2:20AM, KPD got call from "another jurisdiction" where a similar armed hold up had occurred. The two suspects were last seen speeding towards Kennewick. With a description of the vehicle, officers pulled them over near Quinault and North Columbia Center Boulevard. The suspects fled on foot but were quickly run down and captured. Police did not specify where the other robbery took place.
All before 6AM early Monday. A busy day already.
