Friday, Walla Walla police issued a warning to area citizens, that if they find a random $100 dollar bill lying on streets around town, they should look at it carefully, or take it to a bank or credit union before trying to spend or deposit.

Police say somebody has been tossing fake $100 bills around on random streets in the city. No mention made of how many have been recovered, but police say they're fairly easy to spot--even for the average person.

The bills appear to be legit from a distance, but upon examination you can easily see there's writing in a foreign language on the bills. Most of the bills, which were recovered Thursday night and Friday morning, contain what appear to be Chinese or Asian lettering.  IF you find out, please take to the Walla Walla Police Department.
