The saga began when this white four-door pickup was reported stolen out of Kennewick Sunday night.

The suspects apparently wasted no time trying to get 'new' plates for the vehicle, as they were spotted Monday morning near the UPS location, likely by the old Vista Field, trying to steal plates off another vehicle.

A chase ensued, with Kennewick officers trying to stop the truck near Columbia Center Boulevard and Quinault, but the suspects refused to pull over. The chase, however, ended abruptly when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree near the intersection of West Metaline and North Quebec.

Four people inside the truck fled, three were quickly captured but the fourth eluded police despite a K-9 track. That suspect was described as white, in his 20's, about six feet ball, wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The search continues, the others are in the Benton County jail.
