Both a Democratic and Republican bill received well over 5,000 signees to testify, and that doesn't include thousands more who formally commented on the legislation by way of their District legislators.

Inslee signing Emergency Proclamation that will prevent any District from refusing to offer at least two days of in person (hybrid OK) for all children, if they wish. Distance learning will be offered for those families who prefer.

Inslee's team officials say it will be pursued again, probably next session, but for now the bill is all but dead.
