If you were one of the thousands at Toyota Center Wednesday, or listening to Newstalk 870, you were treated to one of the best games ever.

The Tri-City Americans, behind goals from Brian Williams, and Brendan Shinnimin,  overcame a 2-1 deficit to down Spokane 3-2 and win the WHL Western Conference Semi-Final series 4 games to 3. Goalie Eric Williams of Spokane turned in 40 plus saves, but the Ams found a way to get past him to rally for the win. With the victory, the Americans advance to the Western Conference Finals for the third time in the last five years! They will play Portland, who shut out Kamloops 2-0 to also win their series in 7 games.
