US Intelligence Officials are taking seriously the credible terror threat about possible car bomb detonations in New York or Washington D.C.  on or around 911.

According to the Associated Press,  Officials now think the possible three men who they think may have come from Pakistan to detonate possible car bombs, could also potentially be US citizens. So far no US intelligence has shown that Al-Quaida was able to "sneak" anyone into the US.  Also, no connection between the truck bomb that injured 77 US soldiers Sunday in Afghanistan was connected to 911.  A number of "independent" terror attacks have occurred over the last few months, but they are believed to be from insolated or regional terror groups acting independently.
