Travel Advisory I-90 Closed in Both Directions and Chains Required

BREAKING: I-90 is closed both directions from North Bend (mp 33) to Ellensburg (mp 106) due to spinouts. No est. reopening.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Chains required in both directions at Snoqualmie Pass. There have been a number of crashes and spinouts. There is compact snow, slush and ice on the roadway. There are also areas of rough roadway due to snow and ice build-up The westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Exit 106. Drivers will be detoured to Cle Elum via US 97 and SR 970. Plan for about 30 minutes of added travel time.
