Tri-Cities Airport Gets Scrubbed, Wildhorse Casino Reopens
After a two day cleaning process the Wildhorse Casino in Pendleton has re-opened. One of it's staff tested positive for the Coronavirus, but is being successfully treated.
Meanwhile the Tri-Cities Airport has been getting it's own scrubbing, especially since thousands of travelers pass through every day.
Deep cleaning is taking place every day, especially areas where passengers frequently have contact, such as drinking fountains, bathrooms, seats, railings and baggage areas. The airport has been busy being 'scrubbed' almost top to bottom.
Airport and travel officials say people should NOT cancel or deter flights within the US due to the virus. Keep your plans, but exercise good hygiene, such as hand washing etc. And, bring disinfectant wipes to clean the space you plan to sit in if you wish.
No interruptions have occurred or are planned at the airport.
