School's about to be out for summer, and you're going to need to keep them occupied.

Sure, you can plop them in front of the TV or let them veg out with an iPad all summer, but keeping them active is probably a better idea. There are a TON of great day programs, small camps, and great activities all over the Tri-Cities for kids of various ages! Dance, cheer, sports, art, music, camping, chess, you name it, we've got it!

I've gathered a few great ideas to keep your kids occupied (and happy) all summer long! Take a look at the list and see which would be right for your little ones. Give Siri a break from babysitting, and get those munchkins moving and playing this summer!

WSU Tri-Cities: They have some great college prep and science and learning camps that are fun and educational for middle school and high school aged students.

Fallout Crossfit: They have programs for kids all summer to keep them fit and having fun! Kids - ages 12 & under Monday/Wednesday 4:00-4:45 pm. Teens - ages 12 & up Monday/Wednesday 4:45-5:30 pm, and other programs, to register  call (509) 735-0340 or email contact@falloutcrossfit.com.

Mid-Columbia Mastersingers Boys' Choir: The MCMS have a boy's choir camp August 16-20 for boys ages 4th through 8th grade. Get your boy singing and build confidence! Contact them at (509) 460-1766

Strong Foundations: They have fitness programs for middle-high school aged teens. Build strength, develop and enhance movement, develop motor skills and more. Their programs go for 1, 2 or 3 months. Click the link to get more info and register.

Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet: Ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop... and the list goes on. The TCAB has plenty of different dance classes for kids all summer. Hey, they have adult classes too! Click the link for all the info and to register!
