With a hard fought 4-3 overtime victory Wednesday, the Tri-City Americans advance in the WHL Playoffs.

The Americans began the night much like the rest of the series, jumping out to 2-0 and 3-0 leads before Everett clawed back to tie the game and send it to overtime.

The 'Tips played their best game of the series, but just did not have enough left in the tank to overcome the Ams.

Should Portland beat Kelowna in their series, the Americans' next opponent will likely be the winner of the Spokane v. Vancouver series, which is tied at 2-2. Keep watching here and the Americans website for more details about upcoming games.

Most likely, the Am's next action will begin April 6 at home, as they have clinched home ice advantage throughout the playoffs.
