Tri City Dust Devils Kickoff Playoffs Labor Day

Coming off their 1st half division championship, the Tri City Dust Devils will go after their first Northwest A League Championship Starting Labor Day.

2011 has been a good year for Tri City,  just like in 2007 and 2009, they have made the postseason.  Those previous years, under the "old" playoff format the Dust Devils won the Eastern Division but lost in the NW League Championship Series to Salem Keizer.   Under the old format, the Eastern and Western Division Champions squared off in a five game series for all the marbles.  Now, the first and second half division champs make the post-season, so four teams get to go.   The Dust Devils will pursue their goal starting Monday.  Listen in for all the action LIVE here on Newstalk 870 KFLD.
