Truck Thief Also Nailed for Stealing Owner’s Dog

Judging from the picture, the poor dog seems to be saying " hey I was just along for the ride."

Kennewick police apprehended a truck thief, who also stole the owner's dog, after a call came in from the Home Depot Tuesday.

36-year-old Jesus Martinez was in the store with this dog, behaving strangely. When store personnel asked him to leave, he refused.  Store workers called police, and when  they arrived the discovered the truck Martinez was driving was stolen (along with the dog!) from Pendleton.

Martinez is facing a variety of charges, and the truck and dog are being returned to Pendleton. Perhaps they should let the dog have a go round with the suspect after all he put it through!
