According to Department of Social and Health Services officials, one of the two suspects has been apprehended, but the other remains at large. Officials did NOT say which one is in custody.

Sometime after dinner Wednesday evening, 28-year-old Anthony Garver, and 58-year-old Mark Alexander Adams apparently climbed out of a window, and escaped the grounds of Western State Hospital near Lakewood.

Authorities say they may have utilized some transportation, but now say one of them is in custody.

Garver was arrested in 2013 for murder, but found incompetent to stand trial. Adams was arrested for domestic assault in 2014, and also ruled incompetent to stand trial.

Authorities say anyone who may see either of the suspects is urged to stay away and call 911 immediately.  Western State Hospital is the Seattle-are counterpart to Eastern State Hospital in Medical Lake.
