Two Shootings in Yakima Leave Three Injured Sunday Night

Authorities stopped short of calling it a shooting spree, but two incidents injured three people at nearly the same time.

Shortly before 9:30pm, a man was hit in the stomach with a bullet in the 800 block of North 1st. street in what police were calling an altercation across the street from where a party was happening.

Then, just after 9:30, in the 400 Block of South 4th, two men were hit in an incident authorities say could be gang related. None of the victims injuries are life-threatening, but police are closely investigating to see if the two incidents are related due to them happening so close together.

Authorities say they have no suspects at this time.
