Pasco Police now report the male body found near an abandoned home in the east part of town was found in a shed, and the body is in "severe case of decomp" {decomposition or decay).  It may actually have been there longer than a month as first believed.

The body was found by a man who reportedly knows the new homeowner. The house, located in the 900 Block of S. Myrtle, had been recently purchased for renovation purposes, and previously was empty for some time.

Officials suspect the man may have been using it for shelter, and so far there are no signs of foul play involving the death. An autopsy will hopefully shed more light on cause of death and the identity of the man.
