Did you get your ballot in the mail?....or not?   The Office Of the Secretary Of State for WA says  as many as 21,000 ballots were not mailed out to registered voters for this year's November election, and they are pointing the finger at the Department Of Licensing...but DOL says, it's State's fault.

A spokesman for the Secretary's office says the DOL failed to notify them that a voter registration/update option was offered on the DOL website.  State office also claims DOL did not pass on any such updated information.   However, DOL spokesman Gigi Zenk says all the necessary information was supplied to the Secretary's office...'what the Secretary of State's office did with the information, only they can say'   is the stance from DOL.   According to sources, 15,000 voters who renewed licenses online and updated voter information were affected, as were 6,000 new registrants. And DOL says they can supply proof they sent the information to the Secretary of State.   If you believe you may be one of the 21,000 you may fill out a provisional ballot at your local county elections office .  For Benton County, click here....for Franklin County information, click here.
