What Do You Know About I-732, The Carbon Tax Initiative? Find out Here
Much of the election attention in Washington state has been focused on minimum wage and other workforce issues, including I-1433, which would raise the minimum wage statewide, and force all businesses to offer paid sick leave, regardless of the number of workers. I-732 would place a carbon tax on the businesses and companies who are judged to be the 'worst' polluters in our state. It would then take that money, and distribute it among the reportedly 'poorest' Washington state families.
