Stanfield Police and Umatilla County officials just released information about probably the fastest speeder seen in that area in a long time.

Very early Sunday morning, a Stanfield officer on patrol saw a little Volvo go whizzing past, clocked on radar at a speed of 100mph--through town!

After giving chase the officer pulled over the female driver, who was also found to be intoxicated behind the wheel. 27-year-old Tatiana Alvarez of Pendleton had passed a number of vehicles after leaving town out on the highway before she finally stopped.

She also had only one working headlight as well, adding to the danger factor of driving that fast at night. She was booked on multiple charges in the Umatilla County jail.

Officials did not say if she revealed why she was driving so fast.
