Car Chase Suspect Crashes Into Fence in Kennewick, Flees on Foot

Besides arresting the man who allegedly stole two vehicles and led police on a chase before being arrested, officers in both communities are looking for the driver of a four-door sedan who tried to elude them before hitting a fence and running away.

Friday morning, before 11am, police tried to pull over the blue, four-door car in Pasco for traffic violations. The car sped away, then fled to Kennewick, reportedly heading down Clearwater.

Kennewick police joined in the chase, before the driver, who was the sole occupant, made a wrong turn into the dead-end street near South Volland and West Kennewick Ave. The suspect crashed into the fence, and ran from the scene.

According to latest reports, the search is still on for the driver. No other details were released.
