Comedian to Perform for Hanford High School Fundraiser
Comedian Brad Upton will perform at the Sept. 14 fundraiser to benefit Hanford High’s athletics department at the Richland High School auditorium.
Mike DePeel, organizer of the event, said Upton puts a “Tri-City spin” on his jokes. Upton now lives in Seattle but was a Richland High School alum, and taught elementary school in Pasco 28 years ago.
The show will be at 9 p.m. Doors open an hour earlier. Admission is $10-$15. Brad’s show is rated at PG-13 so high school kids can enjoy.
Another fundraiser for the department on Sept. 15 is a four-person golf scramble at the Richland Horn Rapids Golf Course at 1 p.m. Registration is $80 and includes 18 holes of golf, range balls, a cart, prizes, and food after.
