Kennewick Fast Food Restaurant Agrees to Temporary Shutdown After Illnesses

Benton Franklin Health Department officials say the closure is not permanent, and they are working with the owners to find cause of alleged illnesses.

The Jimmy Johns franchise on West Clearwater in Kennewick has agreed to shutdown for an undisclosed amount of time after what officials are calling "numerous" reports of illnesses by people who ate there.

Exactly what the illnesses were, and how many, were not disclosed by the Health Department.   It is not known how long the restaurant will be shut down.  No other information or details have been released by the Health Department, and no information has yet been posted on their website.
