The Walla Walla County Sheriff’s office issued a warning to area citizens about a recent rash of auto thefts occurring in the area.

Officials say 4 vehicles were stolen in a 24 day period, and they’re asking the public to keep their eyes and ears open, especially after dark.

Sheriff’s officials say any unusual activity, especially around vehicles, and even if they’re not at ‘your’ home, should be reported. And remember to lock them and don’t store anything in the vehicle you’re not willing to part with.
