Following last Friday's USDA recall of some 9 million pounds of what they are calling "diseased and unsound animal meat",  Nestle is now recalling numerous batches of Hot Pockets. Involves Philly Steak & Cheese.

The USDA says the Rancho Feeding Corporation in Petaluma, CA,  and a limited amount of the meat was used by Nestle in making Hot Pockets.

"...the company was recalling the meat because Rancho Feeding Corp. had “processed diseased and unsound animals and carried out these activities without the benefit or full benefit of federal inspections."

NO illnesses have been reported from the tainted meat, and the USDA and Nestle say consumers who purchased any one or more of the following batches of Hot Pockets should return them to a retailer for a full refund.  See the list here:
