Wednesday evening the WA State House passed Gov. Gregoire's gay marriage bill.

It now moves onto the Governor for her signature, and will become law; unless opponents can gather enough signatures to force a voter referendum on the November ballot.  Among the legislators who voted no,  Rep. Larry Haler (R) Richland, Joe Schmick (R) Colfax, Bruce Chandler (R) Granger, David Taylor (R) Moxee.  Democrat Terry Nealy of Dayton also voted no.  Rep. Maureen Walsh, (R) Walla Walla, voted yes.
