Burbank Man and Woman Dead After Truck Flips into River Near Mt. Rainier

NACHES, Wash. (AP) — Troopers say two people from Walla Walla County are dead after their pickup landed upside-down in the Little Naches River east of Mount Rainier. William Retterer Jr. and Sherri Retterer of Burbank were in a truck that left the road Saturday night and wound up in the river. Investigators say it's not clear who had been driving or what caused the crash.
