Police in the City of SeaTac, a suburb of Seattle, are enlisting the help of other departments to investigate this one.

Monday morning, police were summoned to the Abbey Ridge Apartments in the City of SeaTac when a suitcase found outside near a dumpster was found to contain a badly decomposed human body.

The body is in such bad shape, officials say it's impossible to immediately determine the gender of the person or their age. The grisly discovery was made shortly after 8:30am Monday morning, in this community located South and slightly East of SeaTac Airport.

Officials are interviewing the disposal driver who collects the trash at the facility and other workers at the building to see if they have any idea when the suitcase may have shown up.  Seattle officials say this is the second time since May a body has been found in luggage, but don't initially believe the incidents are related.

In that case, the body of a woman who was about 5'4" 106 lbs was found stuffed inside a case that was found near Old Fishing Hole Park on Frager Road near the Green River. That woman appeared to have been in decent health, but suffered from cirrhosis of the liver. She was in her late 50's or early 60's, wore dentures and was dressed. She was also wearing an adult diaper when found.

The investigation continues.
