Two special ceremonies will take placed at the 911 Memorial at the Southridge Sports Complex Friday.

There will be a sunrise service starting at 6:30am, the ceremonial posting of the guard and raising the flag.  Then at 8:46am, 9:03am, 9:37 and 10:03 am, moments of silence to honor those who died in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.

In the evening, the 6:30pm program will present several speakers, including Washington state Lt. Governor Brad Owen, and a 21-gun salute with the playing of Taps.

The public is invited to attend any and all of the observances Friday. Please do so, and keep the memory of those brave Americans alive.
