Appointment Needed for Tri-Cities Fairgrounds Vaccination Site
An appointment is NOW needed to get the Covid-19 vaccine at the Benton County Fairgrounds mass vaccination site. The Southeast Washington Incident Management Team made the announcement on Monday.
According to a statement,
DUE TO A STATE MANDATE, THE VACCANATION SITE IS NOW BY PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY! The Incident Management Team operating the site is currently coordinating with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) on utilizing the DOH’s on-line tool for scheduling future appointments. PREPMOD.DOH.WA.GOV you must bring your confirmation of your registration, as well as your FindYourPhasewa.org confirmation. Or you can call 800- 525-0127.
On Monday, 500 people received the vaccine on a first come first serve basis.
For those individuals that have an appointment for Tuesday, January 26 before 2 pm, you can get a shot in the arm. For individuals that have an appointment for Tuesday, January 26 after 2pm, your appointment is now Wednesday January 27, 2021.

More resources have been and will be added to the vaccination process, in an effort to speed up the vaccination rate.
Participants should be prepared for a long wait and are encouraged to bring items to be comfortable. This may be blankets, food, bottled water, medications, books, and portable electronics or laptops.
Portable bathrooms are on-site for your convenience.

When you arrive at the Benton County Fairgrounds, you must show confirmation of your registration as well as confirmation from Findyourphasewa.org. For those who do NOT have internet access, registration can be completed by calling 800-525-0127.
