Benton County Car Prowls Hitting Neighborhood Hard
Benton County Sheriff's deputies are searching for at least one, possibly more suspects, in a new series of car prowls that have occurred in the Rancho Reata area. They think they have at least one suspect on camera. The prowls have occurred over the last five days during very late night, early morning hours.
Officials say most of the break ins and thefts have occurred off Toro Place and South Caballo Road. A gun was stolen from one of the vehicles during these incidents.
It could be the thief or thieves are targeting this area due to it being more rural than other neighborhoods, with more opportunities to hide in brush, and other areas.
Anyone with any information is urged to call (509)-628-0333. All leads are confidential. These pictures were captured on one homeowner's security system.
