Kennewick police continue to investigate several burglaries at the Fred Meyer fuel station, located on the West side of the parking lot from the store at 10th and Highway 395.

Police say over the last several weeks, several times suspects have broken into this cabinet that holds energy drinks, water and soda. They've been able to make off with what authorities say is hundreds of dollars worth of product.

During business hours the cabinet is unlocked and open to customers while they pump their gas. But after the fuel station and store are closed, the cabinet is locked. It's made of secure metal, the but the thieves were able to pry open and break it, getting to the merchandise.

Anyone with any information is asked to call (509)-628-0333. All leads are confidential. Officials are keeping an eye out as well on social media for anyone trying to sell energy drinks or soda. It's possible these folks are trying to resell at a lower price to make a buck.
