Confused Driver Takes out Fence in Pasco, Nearly Ends Up on Freeway
No impairment, just being 'unfamiliar' with the area and the roads, say Pasco police.
Around 2:45am police were dispatched to Road 36 and Argent, where they found this car sitting on a hillside.
It seems the driver, 22-year-old Alexez Marie Delgado of Othello and her passenger, were Southbound on Road 36 when they ran the stop sign at Argent. The car plowed through the Department of Transportation fence, went down the hill part way, and had they not stopped, would have ended up in the Westbound lanes of I-182.
Police say impairment was not an issue, but Delgado was lost and unfamiliar with the area. She was cited for running the stop sign.
