Costco Limiting Customers in Stores Starting Friday
If you are a regular shopper at Costco you know there's been some big crowds at the store lately. Because of the large crowds of people stocking up on supplies at Costco because of the COVID-19 pandemic the company is taking steps to limit the amount of people in the store at any one time.
Starting Friday, Costco will only allow up to two people per membership card to enter their stores.
Officials say the temporary change is for the safety of not only customers but also employees as well. Costco has already placed quantity limits on some of their most popular items, such as toilet paper and paper towels. Company officials says they've increased their protocols in sanitizing surfaces such as shopping carts, shelves and the check-out areas.
