Crazy Crash in Benton City Leaves Truck On Top of Car

This spectacular crash resulted in a 43-year-old male driver ending up in the Benton County jail.

Deputies said over the weekend they responded to the 1300 block of Karen Avenue in Benton City and found this truck sitting just about on top of this vehicle.

According to authorities, the driver struck several vehicles, before becoming (apparently) partially airborne and landing on the top/side of this hapless sedan. Deputies didn't specify what led up to the crash, but said the driver (whose name was not released) fled the scene.

He was later located, and although he didn't sustain any injuries he was taken to an area hospital for medical "clearance" before being booked into the Benton County jail. Fortunately, no one else was injured in this incident either.

The fact this occurred on Karen Ave. was not lost on many.
