A 40-year-old man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly committed road rage against another driver, then dumped his car and fled on foot Monday evening.

Kennewick Police say the incident occurred after an altercation between the suspect and another motorist. Police said the offender was following the other driver, and part of the 'rage' was witnessed by nearby Kennewick Patrol officer. He gave chase and the suspect pulled into a parking lot at Gage and Steptoe.

The driver fled on foot after the officer attempted to make contact, and finally Juan De La Cruz was apprehended. He's now facing charges including DUI, harassment, driving on a suspended licensing, obstruction and resisting arrest. He's now cooling off in the Benton County jail. No one was injured in the incident.
