Groper Assaults Woman, Threatens Radio Station Worker Before Being Busted
A man is in custody facing multiple charges after police nabbed him near a local TV and radio station Monday afternoon.
Pasco police got a 911 call around 2:20pm from the Keylock Mini Storage facility, a woman working there said she had chased an unwanted man off the property at 3030 West Irving street. The woman said he'd originally snuck onto the fenced property illegally, but then returned and crawled back through a hole in the fence.
He forcibly groped the woman, but she got away, locked herself in the office and called 911. Pasco's K-9 unit arrived and searched the area but did not find the man. However, minutes later, another call came from the parking lot at Cherry Creek Radio next to KEPR-TV on West Lewis. There was a suspicious man in their parking lot, who was bothering and menacing a female employee.
The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Hugo Gonzaez Orozco, was nailed as the same groping suspect from the Keylock facility by using their surveillance video. Police quickly arrived and he was taken into custody facing various charges.
