So, you haven't ridden the GESA Carousel of Dreams yet? Here's a chance to do it, and for a great cause!

Join Newstalk 870 and the Tri-City Americans Thursday night at the GESA Carousel of Dreams in the Southridge Sports Complex for Tri-City Americans night.    You'll have a chance to ride the brand new carousel with the players, and raise money for the Americans Players Education Fund!

The Fund helps offset educational and tuition costs for the American's players,  many of whom are with the team beyond high school graduation.  Whether they study here or elsewhere, the fund helps them pursue getting a quality education and degree while they are pursuing a hockey career.   The Western Hockey League has one of the strongest programs in any sport that helps players ensure they have the knowledge and skills to pursue a meaningful career in life, especially once they leave the league.

From 6:30-7:30 you can ride the ponies, elephants, and other animals with the players and the proceeds will benefit the Education Fund.   For more details you can call the Americans office at (509)-736-0606 or log on to amshockey.com

Newstalk 870 will be there, and we hope you will join us!
