Kennewick Police Catch Graffiti Artists Red Handed
There is nothing that infuriates me more than Graffiti so I was so happy to read this report from the Kennewick police this morning. Not only did they catch the vandals but they caught them in the act.
Here's the incident report from the Kennewick Police Department
On 02/02/20 around 5:00 am a Benton County Deputy was in the area of E 5th Ave and S Gum St. The Deputy observed what he believed were multiple people tagging property. Kennewick officers arrived in the area and stopped a vehicle that was leaving the area without any lights on. Four males were contacted inside the vehicle, two being juveniles. Graffiti equipment could be seen inside the vehicle and paint on the hands of the males. All the males were detained. The two juveniles were found to have felony warrants for their arrest after providing false names. The two adult males, Anthony Orozco (28) and Miguel Vargas (18), were identified. All four males were arrested for malicious mischief/gang graffiti. The two juveniles were also booked on their warrants, false reporting, and minor in possession. Charges are being sent for Orozco for furnishing alcohol to a minor. The vehicle was seized for evidence and a search warrant will be executed soon.
