Ndamukung Suh, the recently suspended Detroit Lions football star, was involved in a car crash in Portland over the weekend.

Police say he was trying to pass a taxicab near 3rd and West Burnside streets in Portland when he lost control of his 1970's Chevrolet and hit a telephone pole.  Police say he was NOT intoxicated, and cooperative after the wreck.  His car was towed, and the accident attributed to road conditions.   The former native of Portland OR is serving a two game suspension for stomping on a Green Bay offensive lineman during the Lion's loss to the Packers on Thanksgiving Day.
