Local Gas Prices–Have We Hit $4.50 a Gallon Yet? Find Out Here
Gas prices fluctuate rapidly as it is, and this information is from 12:30 PM on Thursday March 10.
Has anyone hit the $4.50 mark per gallon yet?
A check of multiple area cities, including Richland, Pasco, West Pasco, Kennewick, Benton City, and Benton and Franklin County shows that there's quite a few at $4.49 per-gallon, but we didn't find any that had crossed the $4.50 mark.
Granted, some of the reports were from Wednesday, others updated less than 20 minutes ago. It's a very fluid situation.
AAA Washington reports the average state gas price overall is $4.70. They have a very easy to read color-coded map showing breakdowns of all the counties, ones that are coded in red have broken (in many cases) the $5.00 mark.
We went up $.8 cents since Wednesday, Says AAA
You can also check city prices, based upon metro areas, at the AAA site. They say the Tri-Cities (Richland, Pasco, Kennewick) is at an average of $4.47 per gallon for regular unleaded as of today, March 10th. Wednesday, it was $4.3...an increase of $.8 cents overnight.
There's little relief in sight for the price increases, at least in the near future. Sorry about that!
