Oregon State Police are seeking a suspect who held up a motorist at the rest area near Hermiston.

Late Sunday afternoon, a motorist stopped at the rest area near Stanfield off I-84 to sleep in his SUV, when he was awakened by a gunman who demanded his wallet.  The victim had been resting with the windows down, when the robber waved a gun at him.   The 40 year victim was not harmed, after the suspect got the wallet, he drove off  westbound on I-84.

  OSP officials described the suspect as a black male, 25-35 years old,  6'2" medium build, missing an upper left front tooth, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.  He was driving a white 1980's-early 90's full-size Chevy pickup, with custom straight-pipe dual exhaust pipes out the back.  Anyone with information is asked to call 541-922-5751.  The Oregon State Patrol continues the search.
