Police Officer Fund Raising Magazine Is a Scam Says Kennewick Police

Kennewick Police Department is warning residents and businesses about a potential scam concerning a magazine called "Kennewick Community Police Officer Magazine".

It seems that several businesses in the City of Kennewick have contacted the Kennewick Police Department wanting to confirm the Police Department is working with a group selling advertising in a magazine called “Kennewick Community Police Officer Magazine.”

The Kennewick Police Department has no involvement with any organization selling advertising for this or any other product.

According to a posting on the KPD's Facebook page, they've only heard from local businesses but this could change to target residential neighborhoods at any time.
